Winning the War on Terror

My only point on this entire issue is this:
If you were there, boots on the ground, then I will listen to your opinion about what is going on over there, our ears have been so poisoned by anti war sentiment, that WE here in the States can not know for sure what is happening over there. PERIOD!
Listen to a Soldier, not a man with a microphone in his face.
I used to listen to every word my Brother said, because he WAS over there.
I now listen to Soldiers who speak so very seldom about this issue, Because they are told NOT to (Until they are home)
Have any of you ever wondered why our Soldiers are told NOT to listen to the news, or open a paper while they are home on leave?
ONEword MORALE!  It would destroy the morale of those Soldiers.

Iraqi SURRENDER Group

Why do we need to SURRENDER Iraq to the Insurgency like the Iraqi Study Group AKA: Iraqi Surrender Group suggests?
The LEFT Wing has to be "Lewinsky'ing" (Do I need a PATENT to use that word?) in their  pants with this report.

Why would we Surrender all of our hard work at this point?

We the People

In spite of what the media tells you, the terrorists are fighting the war on our terms now. On the ground, in Iraq. Someone called the Rush Limbaugh show this week that really summed up the war on terror very simply, he is a Soldier with a Wife and kid that is on his way BACK to Iraq for the second time.  He asked a question: How can do you reply to someone who says;"I support the Troops but not the war" Rush replied: "How can you support the Troops and NOT their Mission?" The caller summed it up pretty well, he said: "I put the "F" in VFW". How profound is that statement?

I have been away from this computer for awhile enjoying the company of my Brothers and other family.
Brother Randy (22 year Vet) is retiring from the ARMY's 82nd Airborne, and my Older Brother Mark, who served for 8 years in the regular Army and the last 15 years and growing in the National Guard. (He was just activated but was able to come to Sioux City for Thanksgiving weekend).
While they were here, we watched the Movie "The Sum of all Fear" were a terrorist group gets a Nuclear bomb into the United States through one of our many Ports, that Bomb was put in a Cigarette machine and placed in a Football Stadium. When the bomb went off in the City of Philly if I remember right, my Brother who just got home from Iraq said that movie is a view into our future, he said "That's gonna suck when that happens" he said WHEN not if that happens. That statement has bothered me ever since.
I make a point to kiss my daughter every night and tell her I love her. This Thanksgiving reminded me that all that matters in this world is FAMILY.
